About the Evergreen Classic Benefit Horse Show

EVERGREEN CLASSIC BENEFIT HORSE SHOW

A HORSE SHOW OF THE WASHINGTON STATE HUNTER JUMPER ASSOCIATION
PRESIDENT – SHELLY KERRON
LISCENSEE – WSHJA

Founded by Dianne Johnson in 1980, the Evergreen Classic Benefit Horse Show has become a cornerstone in the history of the Pacific Northwest’s hunter jumper sport. WSHJA acquired the horse show from Dianne in 2004, and went on to partner with charities such as the Children’s Benefit Hospital. Needless to say, the Evergreen Classic has a record of giving back to its community.

The Washington Hunter Jumper Foundation managed the horse show from 2006 through 2011, during which time the horse show was held at Marymoor Park and Remlinger Farms. Dianne returned to manage the horse show again from 2012 through 2015, during which time the horse show searched for a new home before landing at the picturesque Meadow Wood Equestrian Center.

Pat Boyle took over the reins of management in 2016 before passing them along to his protégé, Skip Bailey, in 2017. Along with a new manager, WSHJA is thrilled to begin a new charitable partnership with national animal rescue operation, Animal Aid USA.
